"American Patterns," at Northeastern
University, the Cherry Creek Arts
Festival in Denver, CO, the Boston Ahts
Festival, and "Wild Things," an exhibit
at the Round Barn in Waitsfield, VT.
The new installation is the first to be

Exposed!
Imposter Banished From Fifty State
Animals |
|
March

|
 |
Lincoln,
NE- Entomologists have
confirmed reports that an internal
investigation exposed an imposter
lurking within Andrew Woodward's
painting series,
Fifty State
Animals. "A conniving
imposter fly (Flyus Cheaticus) had
stolen the NE Honeybee spot from right
under our eyes," stated the chairman of
the investigation, "We can confirm The
Imposter has been banished from the
series forever." Though
looking very similar to the amazing
european honeybee, the imposter's true
genus was straight housefly. Heroically, a new,
true
Nebraska Honeybee has claimed the
position and returned his state animal
symbol to righteousness. Rumors of an
upcoming bout between the two insects
are unconfirmed. The
Imposter was auctioned off at the
Cherry Creek Arts Festival the summer of
2011. |
